What we do

Focused expertise for life after a road accident.

COH Rehab provides tailored CTP rehabilitation across Sydney and NSW, helping people rebuild function, confidence and participation in everyday life.

Our approach
How it works

A practical process, built around the person.

Every matter is different. We keep the pathway clear, responsive and connected from referral through to outcome.

Start a referral
01

Referral & first contact

We review the referral, clarify priorities and connect promptly with the person and relevant stakeholders.

02

Assessment & goal setting

We build a clear picture of function, context, strengths and barriers, then agree on meaningful goals.

03

A coordinated plan

We connect services, track progress and keep the recovery team informed with useful, timely updates.

04

Progress that lasts

Support adapts as needs change, with the aim of sustainable independence and participation.

OT driving assessments

A structured pathway back to the road.

Driver-trained occupational therapy assessment considers the physical, visual and cognitive skills needed for driving, then observes practical performance where an on-road component is indicated.

What the assessment involves
01

Off-road

Medical and driving history, vision, physical abilities, cognition, judgement and road-law knowledge.

02

On-road

Practical assessment in a dual-control vehicle with a driver-trained OT and accredited driving instructor.

03

Debrief

Clear findings, recommendations and next steps for rehabilitation, modifications or licensing review.

COH

Connected care.
Clear outcomes.
Human support.

Why COH Rehab

Small enough to be personal. Skilled enough to manage complexity.

01

Responsive by design

Direct communication and proactive follow-up keep matters moving.

02

One connected picture

We consider health, home, work and community—not just one part of recovery.

03

Useful reporting

Clear recommendations and updates designed to support sound decisions.

04

Genuinely person-centred

The person’s priorities shape the plan, pace and measure of progress.

Connect with doctors

Supporting GPs with an occupational perspective.

A GP leads the person’s medical care. An occupational specialist adds a focused view of how injury is affecting function, activity and participation—helping translate clinical progress into practical recovery steps.

01

A fuller functional picture

Clear observations about day-to-day ability, barriers and progress complement the GP’s clinical view.

02

Better-aligned planning

Shared goals and timely communication can keep treatment and rehabilitation working in the same direction.

03

Practical recommendations

Occupational input connects medical guidance with home, community, study and work participation.

For insurers

More referral options. One direct pathway.

Refer for rehabilitation, ADL, functional or vocational assessment services. If you need an Injury Management Consultant, our exclusive IMC Direct Connect pathway can match the matter directly with an appropriate IMC doctor.

Exclusive insurer offer

IMC Direct Connect.

Send one request and let COH Rehab identify an appropriate IMC doctor, avoiding repeated provider enquiries and unnecessary capacity delays.

IMC connections only—not IMEs. Subject to doctor suitability, availability and complete referral information.
